i LOVE saving money!!!

One of my favorite things about Bountiful Baskets is knowing I am saving my family some money on our grocery bill, while eating healthy at the same time.  That to me, is a be.a.utiful combination!

So, if you are curious just how much money you saved this week by getting your Bountiful Basket, here is this week's price comparison . . .
(We did our price comparison at Fred Meyer this week.  That's where we shop 90% of the time because it's just down the street from our house.  We'll do Albertsons next week and then WinCo the week after that to cover all our bases).

The grocery store prices were as follows:

2 heads green leaf lettuce: $2.58
(That is for 2 of the grocery store's heads of lettuce which are always half the size of what I get from my basket.  So really, we probably should double that price!)
1 lb. strawberries: $2.00
2 1/2 lbs. carrots: $1.24
1 stalk celery: $0.89
3 red bell peppers: $3.75
(Again, mine from the basket were WAY bigger than anything I've ever gotten at the store!)
2 artichokes: $5.00
3 lbs. 6 oz. Gala apples: $3.53
2 lbs. green grapes: $2.57
1 lb. 4 oz. tomatoes: $2.09
5 1/2 lbs. cantaloupe: $2.03

GRAND TOTAL (with tax): $27.22

TOTAL SAVINGS: $10.72

I LOVE IT!

I hope that makes you excited to pick up your baskets tomorrow morning.  I know it does me!

THANK YOU BOUNTIFUL BASKETS FOR MAKING OUR POCKET BOOKS A LITTLE FATTER!
