This Week's Price Comparison

It's almost weird how much I look forward to doing these price comparisons.  I've decided it's a sure sign of being an adult when you get this excited about knowing how much money you are saving your little family . . . all while feeding them healthy, fresh foods!

So here we go . . .
(We are back at Fred Meyer this week)

2 heads of lettuce @ $1.29 each = $2.58
6 oz blackberries @ $3.99 each = $3.99
2 lbs 4 oz bananas @ $0.49/lb = $1.10
2 lbs 2 oz Bartlett pears @ $1.29/lb = $2.71
2 lbs 8 oz black grapes @ $1.49/lb = $3.73
(Fred Meyer did not have black grapes, so this is the price for red and/or green grapes)
1 lb 12 oz Jonathan apples @ $1.29/lb = $2.19
(Lisa-Marie got Jonathans but we got Granny Smiths again.  Grannies were also $1.29/lb)
1 lb. yellow squash @ $1.29/lb = $1.29
2 cucumbers @ $0.59 each = $1.18
1 lb 7 oz green beans @ $1.79/lb = $2.64
1 lb 13 oz tomatoes @ $1.49/lb = $2.83
1 pineapple @ $3.48 each = $3.48
2 lb 1 oz yams @ $0.9/lb = $2.08

GRAND TOTAL at Fred Meyer = $31.58 (includes 6% tax)
TOTAL SAVINGS = $15.08!

I just went back and looked at the last three week's price comparisons.  If we add those three week's savings with this week's you saved $70.62 on this month's grocery bill by getting a Bountiful Basket!

Thank you so much for doing the price comparisons. I send people here to check it out because I know how great it is, but then they can see also :)

I love the price comparison, but then I can see what others get in their basket and I definitely do not get the same items/amount. That is a little frustrating.
