KID FRIENDLY POTATOES
Have your six year old use an apple peeler/corer to curly-q the potatoes.
Mine is from Pampered Chef.
Boring Potato.
FUN Potato!
Spray with non-stick cooking oil and add your favorite seasoning.
Our favorite is Johnny's. YUM!
Bake at 400* for 25-30 minutes.
FUN! FUN! FUN!
(While you eat these, I double dog dare you to try not to think about Ramona Quimby "boing-ing" the girl's hair who sits in front of her in class. Please tell me you know what I'm talking about!)

I wasn't going to post about our sandwiches tonight because the "recipe" seems so simple (though, that is the purpose of this blog; family friendly recipes that use BB items.) BUT...the CIABATTA BREAD from Bountiful Basket makes yummy French Dip style sandwiches even YUMMIER! Holy moly! So, I had to share the idea. If you like French Dip Sandwiches, then you must try it. You won't be sorry. Here's how I do mine:
FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES ON CIABATTA BREAD
- Use left over roast from the night before.
- Slice thin.
- Let meat marinate in Au Jus on the stove.
- Butter Ciabatta Bread and broil until very light golden brown.
- Layer on meat, sauteed onions, and mozzarella cheese.
- Place back in broiler until cheese is melted.
- Cut sandwich into individual servings.
- Serve with a cup of au jus.
