Ok, so this week's price comparison comes for WinCo . . . the grocery store everyone here in Idaho swears is the cheapest of cheap (but great quality food). I've walked out of that grocery store with bags and bags of groceries and almost felt like I was stealing because I've gotten such good deals. So I'll be honest, I was a little worried WinCo was going to give Bountiful Baskets a run for their money.
But, BUT! CHECK THIS OUT . . .
2 lbs. 3 oz Granny Smith Apples @ $1.28/lb = $2.82
2 lbs. Bartlett Pears @ $0.78/lb = $1.56
3 lbs. yams @ $0.98/lb = $2.94
1 lb. 12 oz tomatoes on the vine @ $0.98/lb = $1.76
1 lb. 6 oz parsnips @ $1.78/lb = $2.67
2 heads Romaine lettuce @ $1.28 each = $2.56
1 bushel of spinach @ $0.98 each = $0.98
3 lbs. 10 oz bananas @ $0.46/lb = $1.70
2 lbs. red grapes @ $1.28/lb = $2.56
2 pomegranates @ 2 for $5.00 = $5.00
1 lbs. 3 oz broccoli @ $0.88/lb = $1.06
1 pineapple @$3.98 each = $3.98
GRAND TOTAL at WinCo (including ID sales tax) = $31.37
TOTAL SAVINGS = $14.87
That's like hitting a 47.4% off sale at WinCo!
Once again, THANK YOU Bountiful Baskets for making it a little easier for my family to eat healthy!

I love WinCo but don't love the 45 minute drive from my house. Bountiful Baskets is the clear winner plus our pick up site is just down the street!
