Superbowl Weekend Ideas

Are you ready for some football?!?!?!?!?

OR

Are you like me and watch cause you like the commercials and more importantly the FOOD???

Well, if you're still undecided as to what you're going to fix for your party, here are a few ideas from our archives....

Did anyone else order the colored tortillas? We did and I think they'll be fun to bring to the party. And Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Tortillas is JUST what I'm going to make with them. So delicious! And wouldn't you know it, our basket came with strawberries. What luck! Now, you don't have to go to the store and pay an arm and leg for them. Don't you just LOVE getting strawberries in February?!?!?!

This chili is a real crowd pleaser. And, once again BB to the rescue as this week's basket also came with lots of celery and red bell peppers so you're all set with at least a few of the ingredients for this recipe as well!

If we're being honest here (and we are!) we all know that even if you're not competitive when it comes to the football game, it sure is fun to be the one who brought the best dish to the party. Right? Right. And I can almost guarantee that if you were to bring crepes and a variety of fillings for people to mix and match, you would probably win for best dish! You don't even have to make the berry sauce for the top (though it is A-mazing! and can be made with frozen berries.) You could simply make the creamy filling and serve with various fruit. The strawberries and bananas from today's BB would be so yummy together.

These would be fun and HEALTHY! I always appreciate when there is something light and fresh amid all the garbage that can usually be found at Superbowl parties. And these are also a big hit with the kids. It might give them something to do for a few minutes when they get bored with the game.

So, there are a few of my ideas for the Superbowl. What do YOU plan on making?
